Gossip Girl

The ‘Gossip Girl’ season finale aired last night and it has already announced that it’s going to return on DISH Network. The popular DISH TV show will return once again for the season 4 in this fall. The show will run into 2011, as the report says.

If you have seen last night’s season finale you have surely caught the interesting developments. The finale episode was named as ‘Last tango, Then Paris’. The title was named after a 1972 film ‘Last Tango in Paris’. The major developments involve almost all the characters. Dan, Blair, Chuck, Nate, Jenny, Serena and the return of Georgina were the major highlights of the show.

One of the major stories that unfolded in this episode was the truth about Serena and Dan. The relationship between Serena and Nate exploded after a gossip girl leaked some photos of Dan and Serena. Then it was time for Georgina to come back. She revealed that she had got pregnant with Dan’s baby. In the meanwhile, Dan got to know that his sister was getting duped by Chuck. Chuck, who was making himself prepared for proposing to Blair, got punched by Dan. Later in the episode, we saw Chuck was shot by the assailant and his body was lying on the ground for season ending cliffhanger! Fans had already started questions about whether he was dead or alive on the DISH Network show.

So, is Chuck dead or alive? Is Georgina pregnant with Dan’s baby? What will happen in Serena’s life after the revelation? Find answers to all these questions on season 4 of the DISH TV show. It has already reported that Jenny and Vanessa will be absent in a number of episodes in the upcoming season. The role of Georgina will be prominent and some of the filming will be in Paris. So, don’t miss the season 4 of the show when it comes on air on the satellite TV.

DISH Network: Glory to a Villain on ‘Survivor’!

Survivor-Heroes vs. Villains

DISH TV unfolded a new chapter on the winner of ‘Survivor-Heroes vs. Villains’. It disclosed the winner finally! Did you see the finale of the show premiered on CBS channel on Sunday? I am sure most of you expected that Colby Donaldson will carry $ I million prize home. Well it didn’t happen that way! He was able to outwit every one of them but couldn’t beat Parvati Shallow in the first immunity challenge. He toppled the stack of plates when he was trying to balance them. He gave Parvati a second individual immunity to win in a row. But behind the screen Colby pretended to give up expressing his inability (“I’m not going to hustle today, I’m not going to scramble,” he told everyone) but that was a trick played by him to approach Russell Hantz and tried to vote off Sandra Diaz- Twine.

But the winner of ‘Survivor’ was Sandra Diaz-Twine, who, with this win, won this show twice. Though Parvati Shallow failed to capture the second win, she holds the record for the most number of days played.

Russell Hantz couldn’t survive on this show any more and he was turned down. He was curious to know why he lost the game. The jury explained him that he played a bad game by creating a group of people who loathed him.

The show was extended to three hours and it blocked the prime time of the night. There were loads of excitement and fun regarding the winner of this reality show. All the anxieties were held to the last moment of this show when the winner was declared. Most of the eagle-eyed viewers were hooked on satellite DISH Network for the results.

I wonder if you have seen the finale of this show last night! If you have missed it, you can keep watching the recap of this episode on your satellite TV. So hold your breathe to watch the recap of this show on your DISH TV. If you want to record them for future viewing, DISH Network has the solution. For more details, log on to our webpage.

DISH TV: Breaking News on ABC

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

There is extremely bad news waiting for the fans of the shows ‘Scrubs’, ‘Flash Forward,’ ‘Better Off Ted’ and ‘Romantically Challenged’. Entertainment Weekly, an American Magazine, reports that these shows are never going to be back on ABC channel of your satellite DISH TV. The fans may bite their nails wondering why the shows have been cancelled, but it is not at all surprising for the fans of ‘Scrubs’ as it was rebooted with several new faces this season and consequently the show was becoming average in quality. The executive director, Zach Braff, wrote on his Facebook Wall a few months ago that, “[Scrubs] is no more. It was worth a try, but at last it didn’t work’’.

However ‘Scrubs’, along with ‘Better Off Ted’, was aired for a shortened season. After both the series faced low ratings, the last new seasons were burned off in March and it recorded 3.4 million viewers and 2.55 million viewers for their respective finales.

Many thought ‘Flash Forward’ would be the hit of the year and it would possible be the next ‘Lost,’ premiered to 12.47 million viewers in September last year.  But unfortunately it didn’t meet the expectations of the viewers. This show was down to its lowest level and it reached 4.77 million viewers for last week’s new episode of the current season.

You cannot ignore the comedy debut, ‘Romantically Challenged’, which you will be missing. The famous Rebecca Thomas will not be back here any more. Surely you are going to miss her. But you are going to see them in a new show on ‘Rebecca’s One Night Stand’, which will be aired on May 17 on ABC of DISH Network. The modest debut aired only three episodes and recorded 10.67 million viewers so far.

If you are thinking about missing them, you can switch to other shows that will be aired on ABC of DISH Network. Tune into ABC to catch the new shows on DISH TV. You will find many shows as such. So bring home satellite DISH TV now.

Supernatural Season 6 on DISH TV: What’s next for the Winchesters?

Supernatural Season-6

Did you bid goodbye to Michael and Lucifer on Thursday Night? Last night, the war between good and the evil ended because the apocalypse was set to finish the ‘Supernatural’ Season 5 final. ‘Supernatural’ is an American drama or a horror television series, starring Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester. Both the brothers hunt demons and other paranormal figures. This is a series of entertainment that was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. It debuted on September 13, 2005 on Warner Bros and currently it is a part of the CW’s line-up. CW officially renewed the ‘Supernatural’ Season 6 on February 16, 2010. This means that you can still watch the Winchester brothers in the next Season.  You can watch this series on DISH Network. DISH TV offers HD channels, which include CW in the package.

The sixth Season of ‘Supernatural’ has been officially confirmed by the CW network. Creator Eric Kripke planned for this show to last only five seasons. Due to increased ratings from the fourth and the fifth seasons, there has been an increasing demand for the show. He confirmed that Season 6 will be the show runner of this series. Both Sam and Dean will be back at Season Six!

Hypothetically Season 6 will steer towards the format of the early seasons “lots of meat-and-potatoes closed-ended episodes, and…a season-long story arc to weave in”. Probably it will focus on both the brothers’ relationships. Watch the Winchesters brothers to see what fate holds for them. Catch them live on your satellite DISH TV as soon as the new season begins.

Betty White on SNL

You have watched last week’s Saturday Night Live on DISH Network for sure! So, how did you like Betty White as host of the show? The 88-year old Betty White made her much-awaited and much-hyped debut on Saturday Night Live. It was not a disappointment for the viewers! In fact, the show has got the best rating of the year after Betty made her presence on the show.

Some of the highlights of the show included the death metal version of the Golden Girls theme song. Betty’s ability to share fun with everyone sometimes turns out to be a little raunchy and so is Betty’s role as a muffin chef on NPR.

Along with Betty the show’s special episode for Mother’s Day brought back some of the most famous female casts of the show on DISH Network. Rachel Dratch, Molly Shannon, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph, Amy Poehler all are invited to the show.

Fans of Betty thanked her on Facebook for her appearance on the Saturday Night Live show on DISH TV. It was her fans that ran a campaign on the social media site to bring Betty as the host of the show. Betty had said that she had not heard about Facebook before and she further said, “and now that I do know what it is, I have to say it sounds like a huge waste of time.”

But her appearance on the DISH Network show was not a waste of time for sure since it has brought the highest rating for SNL in 18 months.

Recap of ‘Glee’s ‘A House is Not a Home’ on DISH Network

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Let’s have a look at the latest episode of ‘Glee’. After the Madonna extravaganza of the last episode ‘Glee’ has come out drama-heavy this time! The last episode of ‘Glee’ on DISH Network has focused on Kurt and Mercedes. It of course focused on Finn too but in a context other than his own dating life!

Surely the main attraction of this episode of ‘Glee’ on DISH TV is the return of Kristin Chenoweth! She is back and she sings three songs on the show. Spotlight then shifts to Will and April. April confesses about her secret to Will. The scene of the two sharing the same bed but separately contemplating their individual loneliness is a great one!

The drama then rolls over Finn and Kurt. Both Finn and Kurt get upset while they come to know Kurt’s father is dating Finn’s mother. Finn feels horrified that his mother is moving on from his father’s memories. He feels impatient and it may be meant to be a tribute to Finn’s feelings when Kurt sings the song ‘A House is Not a Home’ at the rehearsal. Understandably Finn is himself inspired to sing the song.

Kurt confronts his father on his affair with Finn’s mother. He asks his father to appreciate how hard it would be for Kurt to watch his father bond with the son he’s always wanted to. Kurt’s father wants to smooth things over and questions him about his motives about Finn’ mother. The scene of Kurt tearfully dismisses his father’s motives is really heart wrenching. With all the new drama is on the making on ‘Glee’ you should catch this up on your DISH Network channel.

Watched the last episode of ‘Glee’? How do you like Kurt on the show this time? Let us know!

Celebrity Apprentice Shocker on DISH Network

Monday, April 26th, 2010

So, who went home last night on Celebrity Apprentice 2010 on DISH Network? Last night on the show the teams were to build a 24 hour fitness class. There were two goals before the teams last night. One was to raise a handsome fund and second was to get the reward of $24,000 for the best fitness class.

It was Holly Robinson Peete’s turn to work as Project Manager for her team ‘Tenacity’. Within seconds to spare she got a huge amount of donation from Ron Burkle. With this donation of $50000, the team managed to raise $200,000 in total. The amount is bigger than any non-finale task on the DISH TV show ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’.

For Rock Solid, it was Sharon Osbourne who performed the task of project manager. Good news for the Rock solid fans that they won the $24,000! They assured the prize money for taking the best fitness class. However, even with the handsome amount of $24,000 as prize money the Rock Solid managed to collect were only $100,000 for the challenge.

It makes the situation interesting on the show. Technically ‘Tenacity’ should win since they managed to raise more money than the ‘rock Solid’. But ‘Rock Solid’ is the 24 Hour Fitness pick of the show last night. So, what did Donald Trump do? Whom did he fire? Who went home on the show?

The biggest surprise was that nobody was fired last night on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’. All the money that Holly Robinson Peete’s team had raised would go to the charity. Even she has promised a handsome amount to Sharon Osbourne’s charity as well!

So, feeling relieved that none was sent home last night on the show? What’s your take on the show? Share your views with us.

Next Episode of ‘Lost’ to be Aired on May 4

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Lost

Bad news for ‘Lost’ lovers! It seems as if the show is losing its momentum as it approaches the final batch of episodes. The next episode, episode 14 of the season, won’t be aired on April 27. You’ll have to wait a bit more to catch the new one! The episode 14 will be telecasted on May 4 on DISH TV.

You might be thinking what will be airing on that time slot? No, you guessed it wrong! It’s not being replaced by any major event like a Presidential address or an Olympic event! It will simply be replaced by episode 9 of the season. No doubt, episode 9 ‘Ab Aeterno’ is a good one to see but can’t it be as good as a new episode of the season? Surely not! Yet the viewers of DISH Network channel will have to wait for 2 weeks.

Actually ABC is all set to say goodbye to the show. The season 6 episode 15 will be aired on May 11, 2010. Likewise episode 16 will be telecasted on May 18 and the season finale will be aired on May 23. This will give the viewers of DISH TV to get the chance of viewing the show twice in two week. Paradoxically, for the most excited episode, the season finale, the viewers will have the shortest wait. However, ABC has taken time to say goodbye to this popular show. The season finale will be extended by a two-hour pre-show just before the season finale. The season finale will also be extended to a special two-hour show.

So, getting ready to say goodbye to ‘Lost’? Say goodbye to the show by sharing your thoughts on the show.
